A Letter from Our New Administrator

Dear Members of Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center Community:

I am very excited as I begin my new position as Administrator at Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center.

The mission to share the experience of the unconditional love of Jesus Christ exemplified in His passion, death and resurrection inspired by the Passionist heritage is truly exemplary. The work that OLC does in providing refreshment, renewal and contemplation for women resulting in spiritual healing and growth is so important in today’s hectic world.

Most of my professional career has been spent in business and industry, both owning my own businesses and working for companies. This has given me some meaningful life experiences to draw upon. I come to OLC at a time in my own discernment and faith journey where I would like to dedicate my professional work, time and energy to my Catholic faith from a career and spiritual perspective. As Administrator at OLC, I am being given this opportunity and I am very thankful for it. The Holy Spirit does indeed listen to our prayers!

OLC is and has been a wonderfully rich environment for spiritual renewal for so many of you. My goal is to help enhance and strengthen the mission here and move into the future together. I would like OLC to be an on-going and spiritually important Retreat Center for years to come offering a variety of retreat experiences for women of all faiths. We can make this happen together.

All I have met here so far have made me feel so very welcome including the Sisters, Board and Staff. I hope I will get the opportunity to welcome and meet you personally and individually as you enter the doors at OLC. It looks like we have a great schedule planned for the upcoming 2015-2016 retreat season which is underway. My hope is that you will participate in the programs planned this year. If I can ever help you in any way, please just let me know.

Let’s plan on meeting and seeing each other very soon at Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center!

My Very Best and God Bless,

Ron Miceli
