God’s Paintbrush Within Us
July 19 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
From the very beginning of our existence, God gently held us and looked into our souls. Delighted with His creation, He took a paintbrush to accompany us as He wished to paint the moments of our lives: moments of grace, moments of challenge, moments of peace and moments of stress. God’s paintbrush follows us throughout our journey if we are open to the ongoing gift of the swish of the paintbrush, the blending, the softening and the shading… all created by the Master painter.
This evening will include a short presentation, a time of reflection, a guided meditation and a contemplative time to paint your own tilted bowl. As God’s paintbrush gently touches our spirits, so too may we be renewed in the colors of grace, healing and peace. There will be a time for sharing the fruits of our painting and time for a blessing moment.
The Claypen from West Hartford will provide the pottery bowl, the paints, the brushes, and the staff to facilitate this evening.
