June 22 @ 5:00 pm - June 29 @ 11:00 am
Silence is difficult to come by in a busy world, and many of us don’t know what to do with ourselves during times of silence. Television, radios, cell phones, and computers have taken away times of silence and contemplation. Our silent retreats are the perfect antidote.
Our beautiful country house, bucolic grounds and healthy and delicious meals prepared by Chef Bill are sure to make your silent retreat a peaceful and restorative experience.
We offer three different silent retreat experiences. Whichever you choose will be just the thing to help you relax, calm your spirit, and find God in your life again.
Directed and Theme Long Weekend Retreat – June 22 – 25, 2017
The Silent Theme Retreat shares our season’s theme Embracing Joy: Learning to Bear the Beams of Love. This retreat includes presentations by members of the retreat team, community prayer and plenty of time for private prayer indoors and out.
Week-Long Directed Retreat – June 22 – 29, 2017
The Silent Directed Retreat gives you the opportunity to meet daily one on one with a spiritual director to reflect on your spiritual journey, and the presence and action of God in your life. You can experience the Silent Directed Retreat for a long-weekend or a full week.
Spiritual Directors include:
– Sister Joanne Fahey, CP
– Sister Bernadette Hughes, CP
– Kathy Irr
– Father Jim Kelly, OFM
