Laugh Away Your Winter Blues

This program includes lunch.

People sometimes attribute the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine,” to American publisher and humor writer Bennett Cerf. Its roots go much deeper though. The phrase probably derives from Proverbs 17 in the Old Testament. Here, it is said that ‘a merry heart is like medicine’.
Come join Marie DiBenedetto at OLC and learn about the body’s response to laughter as she tells some of her personal humor situations and jokes. Our time together will end with some suggestions on how to maintain a positive attitude and keep on laughing.
