May the Passion of Jesus Be Always in Our Hearts – Good Friday Retreat
Good Friday is a solemn day of prayer during which the Church invites us to enter deeply into the passionate moments of Jesus’ final acts of love – his suffering and death. It is at the heart of the spirituality that influences the Passionist ministry of Our Lady of Calvary.
To commemorate this profound mystery of love the Passionist community offers you this special time of prayer to walk with Jesus, to be with him in those horrific moments of betrayal, pain, suffering, and abandonment, to remember and give thanks for the many times in our own lives that he has walked with us and to renew our faith in the reason for all of this – Resurrection and new life!
Come to Our Lady of Calvary on Good Friday with your family and friends. In silence contemplate with love and gratitude Jesus’ great love for you.

12:15 Simple Lunch
1:00 Time of silence until after Commemoration of Passion 1:30 Optional Stations of the Cross
2:00-3:00 Personal Meditation
3:00 Liturgy for the Commemoration of the Passion
To allow for an atmosphere of prayer, this will be a silent retreat concluding with the solemn Commemoration of the Passion at 3:00 pm
