Iris Folding for Christmas
November 28 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Iris folding is a fun and exciting way for anyone to make beautiful greeting cards and/or framed art. The craft uses a simple paper technique with a template and colored paper strips. Some of the most popular papers used are the insides of envelopes, gift wrap, origami, and holographic paper. The paper strips are layered in a spiral pattern behind an opening in a piece of cardstock. It resembles the iris of an eye or camera. Christmas designs will be used for this workshop; though there are many designs you might use on your own. Supplies provided or bring your own papers.
Presented by Dell Kasinskas. Dell is an artist, mother, grandmother, a retired nurse, bereavement group facilitator and a long-time OLC retreatant.
