Paul the Apostle: A Life in Turbulent Times on Zoom

Paul the Apostle was born in 5 AD and died in 67. Living in turbulent times he was the most influential early Christian Missionary. The writings that are attributed to him by the church form a considerable portion of the New Testament.

In this program, we will explore the life of Paul, from his childhood in Tarsus, his years as a student in Jerusalem, and the successes and failures of his ministry to discover a relatable human being at the center of early Christianity.

We will ask –

How did Paul’s life experience form his understanding of God and lead him to think in a particular way?

How can the life of Paul the Apostle provide an example of how to navigate troubled times?

How can having some knowledge of Paul’s life help us to a deeper understanding of Paul’s Letters?

Presenter: Sister Mary Ann Strain, CP has been working in retreat ministry since 1986. She holds a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Providence College.

Register for this program using the form below or call Cathy on Tuesdays or Thursdays at (860) 677-8519. You will receive an email with your Zoom link attached.
