On Saturday, July 16 a celebration in honor of Sister Eileen Fucito, C.P., who recently completed eight years of service as Congregational Leader of the Sisters of the Cross and Passion was held at at Our Lady of Calvary. Sister Eileen also serves on the retreat team at OLC.
The celebration began with a prayer service during which Sister Pulane Makepe, C.P., a sister from Botswana studying here in the United States, renewed her vows and a blessing was prayed over Sister Eileen. The prayer service was followed by a reception and dinner.
We are really grateful to everyone who worked to make this day so special, especially Chef Bill, Cheryl, Kaarina and all of our Retreat League Volunteers.
