The Christmas Season is upon us!
In the coming weeks it will become increasingly difficult to focus on the true meaning of Christmas with so many messages, events, and yes, appeals – filling our inboxes.
Before we become overwhelmed, today is the perfect time to take a breath and reflect on what’s most important.
#GivingTuesday is a global movement to celebrate and encourage giving back after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Many of us regard Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center as our home away from home. The retreat center is integral to supporting our spiritual life. Therefore, we hope that you will help OLC on Giving Tuesday.
Our Giving Tuesday Project
This year we are raising funds to upgrade the tech and the amenities in our upstairs Blue Room. Beginning in January we are bringing back our popular “Blue Room” programs on Saturday mornings. In order to offer the programs we have scheduled we need a Smart TV to show PowerPoint slides and to stream video, a stand for the television, a coffee maker and some comfortable chairs.
We aim to raise $1500 to cover the cost of upgrading this space. Your donation will benefit everyone who attends a Blue Room program next year and for many years to come. Thank you and God Bless you!
