I Have Called you Friends
As poet and author John O’Donohue has written, “Friendship is the nature of God.” Indeed, God desires our friendship and our ability to live life to the fullest. So, it is no surprise that friendships are at the very heart of our happiness and joy, and our friendships and relationships, as vessels of love, have the capacity to bring us into deeper communion with God, ourselves, and all of creation.
Come away and be refreshed and renewed in God’s unconditional love and friendship. Experience more deeply that you are God’s beloved one in whom God delights and rejoices. (Isaiah 62: 4). Reclaiming your beloved identity within the spark of divine love, draws you into deepest conversations with God, and enables you to share this divine love in every aspect of your life.
