Apparitions of Mary

Apparitions, visions, messages from heaven. All are very sacred and very mysterious. This presentation will consider nine apparitions of Mary, beginning with Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1581 and concluding with Our Lady of Good Help in 1859. We will consider the message, the one who received the message, and the resulting devotion to Mary under the unique title associated with an apparition.

Presenter: Sister Elissa Rinere, CP, is a Sisters of the Cross and Passion member. She is originally from New York City but has lived most of her religious life in New England. In addition to an M.A. in Secondary Education from URI, Sister has a doctorate in canon law (J.C.D.) from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
